Lebanon’s surface is 10,452 square kilometres with a coastline of 225 km on the Mediterranean sea.
The Capital is Beirut, one of the oldest cities in the world inhabited more than 5000 years ago.

The climate is Mediterranean and moderate. The weather in the coastal cities is in general cool and rainy during winters and hot and humid during summers. Climate is cold followed with heavy snows on the higher mountaintops.

In addition of being healthy and fresh, it offers a great variety of dishes that includes an abundance of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, starches, fresh fish, seafood and goat meat.
